Hey, everyone! The first blog post for the shop Halcyonic Hypaethron will focus on herbs and silver jewelry.
Essentially, we have been searching high and low for the best herbs to bring to the shop and place in your hands. Currently we have come into possession of some fresh Rue which we will be using to create a specific product. We're still mulling over exactly how to go about this, but there are several ideas and we'll be putting pen to paper to get it all figured out.
K also has a yummy batch of mugwort waiting to be put on the shop. Mugwort can be used as a tea to help with issues in regards to irregular menses and other issues related to the womb. It has been said to be useful for stomach and intestinal conditions like colic, constipation, cramps, weak digestion, diarrhea, vomiting, and worm infestations. Mugwort is a close cousin of Wormwood, and both have properties that combat "infestations." It is also great for use in psychic tea, as it has been known to have sedative properties.
How do you feel about hand made products? Are you for or against it?
In terms of silver jewelry, I am very finicky about quality. Next week if all goes as planned, I will have on my doorstep 12 pieces of silver jewelry spanning the Egyptian, Norse/Viking, and Celtic pantheons. .925 silver in Pentagrams, Mjolnir, Tree of Life, Wolves and Moons, and Sekhmet, Anubis, and Horus! All of this jewelry will be lovingly displayed for their first photo shoot!
I hope you love the pieces as much as I do! I'm a really big fan of silver jewelry because silver is quite resistant to scratches, and can be easily cleaned with a nice buff of a soft towel (typically). Look out for next weekend when these silver gems will be going up on Halcyon!
